For us, every time we arrive at Standing Stone, the same thing happens: we exhale.
We stop, look out across the vineyard and the lake, and say, “my god, it’s beautiful.” Then, we walk into the tasting room and pour wines that somehow carry that same beauty.
That feeling led us to a question: How do we help people experience Standing Stone the way we do?
Not as a place to hurry through, or simply another stop on a wine trail, but as a place to settle into. To follow your own rhythm…
The wines are part of that experience, grown from this land and shaped by the character of this remarkable place.
Life asks us to move quickly, answer promptly, and make productive use of nearly every hour….
Standing Stone offers something different: permission to slow down.

Over the years, the vineyard, the wines, and the spaces around them have continued to evolve. This time, we thought less about what a tasting room is supposed to be and more about how we want people to feel while they are here.
A place where the wine, the land, and the moment can meet without being rushed.
