Wine and food pairings can either feel incredibly natural or shock and surprise. Whole books have been written on the topic, and there seem to be endless rules. But the question remains: what is the “correct” pairing? Is it wrong to pair a high-acid Riesling with a marbled cut of red meat? Is it surprising that Champagne goes perfectly with potato chips? You be the judge as Sommelier Maris Garden shares her expertise.
