Join us on July 27, 2013 for our 2nd Musical Salon featuring the virtuosic musical talent of Greg Funfgeld, Artistic Director & Conductor of The Bach Choir of Bethlehem and friends. The program will include the music of Bach, Poulenc, Scarlatti, Porter, and Gershwin. Joining Greg will be Rosa Lamoreaux, soprano; Robin Kani, flute; and Larry Wright, trumpet.

Enchanted Summer’s repertoire will include:
-Arias for soprano with flute from J.S. Bach’s delightful COFFEE CANTATA
-Arias for soprano with trumpet obligato from Alessandro Scarlatti and collaborations on Blow, Gabriel, Blow from Cole Porter’s ANYTHING GOES
-Performance of Gershwin’s Summertime from PORGY AND BESS & Love Is Here To Stay
-Duet of flute and piano of Francis Poulenc’s Sonata

…and other stunning pieces

Following up on last year’s tremendous success, we invite you to join us for this deliciously exciting event and fundraiser. All proceeds are donated to The Bach Choir of Bethlehem in support of The Choir and their Educational Outreach programs. These funds will allow the music of Johann Sebastian Bach to continue to be performed at the highest standards of musical excellence for an audience of more than 20,000 people a year. The “Bach to School” program brings classical music to the ears of 5,000 school children, annually, and inspires the children to learn about the arts and explore musical history. This year marked the 20th anniversary of the program, and the 100,000th child.

Tickets for this sparkling evening are $65 per person and may be purchased through the winery. During the afternoon preceding the Enchanted Summer program, a private tour of the HJW Vineyard and a reserved tasting inside the winery will be available exclusively for guests attending the evening program, for an additional fee of $35 per person. The tour and tasting will run from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
