Wine and food pairings can feel either instinctively natural or unexpectedly surprising. Entire books have been devoted to the subject, and the “rules” can seem endless. Still, the question remains: what is the correct pairing? Is it wrong to pair a high-acid Riesling with a marbled cut of red meat? Is it surprising that Champagne goes perfectly with potato chips? You be the judge as Sommelier Maris Garden shares her expertise.
