Our Noble Select dessert wines represent the peak of ripeness on the estate each year. Sugars are concentrated on the vine with the aid of naturally occurring botrytis, building additional texture and complexity into these wines. This is a special release out of our Library - 9 years on, this 100% botrytized Riesling is showing pure elegance. Sugar weight at Harvest for this wine was 502 g/L! (Robert Parker 92 points)

VinificationHand picked and individual berry sorted on press pad. Overnight soaking and then long pressing in small horizontal screw press - up to 4 or 5 days to squeeze every last drop out - Fermented (with indigenous yeast) in neutral barrel and stainless steel drums, gravity filtered and bottled by hand.
