This is the first time we have bottled a single vineyard Gewürztraminer at Wiemer. The fruit was sourced from our 2000 planting at our Magdalena site and picked on September 21st. Right away, a distinct quality was apparent and we kept this lot separated throughout vinification and fermentation. The exceptional characteristics of one of our ripest sites, Magdalena, shine through and complement this complex and refined dry Gewurztraminer.
