DESCRIPTION:Harvest is upon us at Hermann J. Wiemer! Our vineyard management team is ready to welcome you on a Flower Day Farm Tour. They will give you an overview of what a “typical” day during harvest on the farm looks like. You will learn about how we utilize the Biodynamic calendar\, what a day in the life on the press pad looks like – and then you’ll head out to the vineyard for a true view of harvest in the field. We’ll cover how we pick – what we’re looking for in the vineyard and we’ll demonstrate how we actually hand harvest. While we’re out and about\, you may even see our <in>famous geese! At the end of your farm tour\, you will enjoy a glass of wine and be able to ask any additional questions to our vineyard team. \nIf you would like to do a full tasting\, we recommend booking either before at 11:30am or after at 2:30pm.

Considered the highlight of a given vintage\, our reserve bottling pushes the envelope with ripe fruit that is fermented dry. Join us as we explore multiple library vintages of Reserve Dry Riesling along with the vineyard components that comprise the upcoming iteration of this potent blend. Our Library Coordinator\, Neil Bradley\, will share the story behind some of these coveted vintages and walk you through the process of how this wine is made. \nYou will taste warm and cool vintages from the Library\, our current vintage and pieces of of the upcoming 2024 vintage\, still patiently fermenting in tank. \nTickets are $50 per person and $30 per Kabinett member.
