While that may be a bit of an exaggeration\, it’s all the more reason we’re excited to celebrate the Summer Solstice\, the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. \nWalk-Around Mini Barrel Tasting 5pm-7pm \nIt’s been a while since we hosted what was once our annual Barrel Tasting\, and we thought the Summer Solstice would be the perfect occasion to revive the spirit of that event\, this time we will gather on our Press Pad to taste and enjoy. \nThe theme of the afternoon centers on Biodynamics and our home vineyard site\, HJW. You’ll have the chance to explore several stations\, including barrel and tank samples of upcoming Demeter-certified wines\, a look at our potted grapevines—our own Chardonnay and Riesling clones from the HJW Vineyard and a station on how to bring Biodynamic practices into your own garden\, featuring horsetail tea.
