DESCRIPTION:Our HJW Estate Vineyard is usually known for Riesling\, but that isn’t the only important variety that we grow here at our home vineyard. Chardonnay is the most popular grape variety in the US for a reason – It’s very romantic to say! Not only that\, but Chardonnay is at the heart of some of the greatest wines and styles made in the wine world. Join our head Winemaker Fred Merwarth as he takes you on an exploration of this classic variety and why Hermann decided to make it part of his original planting in 1978. We will dive into the site\, the breadth of styles\, and the age ability of this variety planted at HJW. \nTickets are $50 per person and $30 per Kabinett member.
